About Me

I'm Lena Weissman, a senior at the University of Arizona, graduating in May 2025. Originally from Scottsdale, I'm a proud Arizona local and a lifelong Wildcats fan. I’m double-majoring in Management Information Systems and Marketing, with a minor in Spanish.

In the summer of 2023, I gained valuable marketing experience through two internships. At Visit Austin, I assisted the marketing team in promoting local events and attractions, helping to influence tourism. I also worked remotely with PRBULLDOG, a public relations agency, supporting media outreach, event coordination, and website management.

A pivotal moment in my academic and professional journey was my internship as a Digital Media Analyst at LAVIDGE. This role solidified my passion for data-driven decision-making. I worked with platforms like Datorama and The Trade Desk to analyze and optimize digital advertising campaigns, managing dashboards and collaborating across teams to deliver actionable insights. This experience deepened my interest in analytics, where I discovered how data can not only inform strategies but also drive performance improvements.

Through my coursework in Management Information Systems, I’ve developed a strong technical foundation. I've gained hands-on experience with data analysis, visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI, and statistical methods. I have also gained a solid foundation in using Python for programming. I’m eager to explore and apply these skills in the technology industry, particularly in roles where I can leverage data to solve complex problems and make impactful decisions.

I am eager to relocate to Austin, Texas post-graduation and apply my technical expertise, marketing knowledge, and passion for analytics to my future career, as I continue to grow professionally.
